Touring

The touring interests of the CMC are for those motorcycle enthusiasts who enjoy riding the open highways and byways of Calgary and surrounding regions. Whether it’s a short, scenic day trip, a poker run, or a long weekend camping trip, enjoy the camaraderie of touring with the CMC throughout some of Alberta’s and Western Canada’s most scenic areas.

Off Road

For those who like to get off the beaten path, the Calgary Motorcycle Club also participates in weekend trail rides at a variety of off road riding areas in the Calgary region. Some club members also participate in organized competition events such as hare scrambles, moto-cross and ice racing, as well as the Moose Mountain Cross Country held annually on the August long weekend. The CMC has sponsored this event for more than 50 years.

Social

Not all the CMC activities are based on riding. A number of social events such as barbeques, movie night, bowling, or Sunday brunch are held throughout the year. The club hosts a Year-End Awards Banquet to celebrate the season and to recognize members for their success in contests and events during the year, as well as their contributions to the CMC and the motorcycling community.

The club also participates in the annual Adopt-a-Family program through the Alberta Children’s Hospital to help brighten Christmas for a family in need.
